The Mission of the River Falls Library Foundation is to enhance the quality of River Falls Public Library services to the community by securing resources to support library programs and projects not normally met by public funding.

It is the intent and function of the River Falls Library Foundation through its Board to implement its Mission by means of these Guidelines:

To maintain at all times a core of community and individual memberships in a River Falls Library Foundation, whose purpose is the greater welfare of the River Falls Public Library;

To serve as a liaison between the River Falls Public Library and those of the larger communities and the various individuals which it serves, for the purpose of providing and maintaining a support group with vested and various interests in the financial well-being of the River Falls Public Library;

To assist the library, its staff, and its board in relationships with the larger communities, various individuals, and the local government of River Falls, with special reference to the seeking out and the acquiring of larger scale donor support for the greater development and improvement of the informational systems of the River Falls Public Library;

To raise, manage, and distribute large donations and other sums for the long-range benefit of the River Falls Public Library;

To solicit, manage, and distribute annual membership subscriptions and related smaller monies for the purpose of supporting the discretionary necessities of the River Falls Public Library;

To invest wisely the various acquired monies, both major capital and annual donor, for the production of incomes related to both capital expenses and discretionary funds needed for the development and improvement of the informational systems of the River Falls Public Library.
