How to Check Out an ebook for Kindle from Wisconsin's Digital Library
1) Using a web browser on your
tablet, smart phone, computer or Kindle Fire, go to the MORE online
catalog (http://www.more.lib.wi.us),
click on Digital Downloads to go to the Wisconsin Public Library
Consortium website (http://dbooks.wplc.info)
(Do not use the web browser on the e-ink

4) Enter your entire
library card number (without any spaces) and then click on

(You must have an up-to-date MORE library card
with less than $10.00 in fines to check-out. If you do not have a
library card, go to your local Wisconsin public library to sign-up for a
card. To find your local IFLS library, go to

closest local Wisconsin library go to

Note - If you find a Kindle Books that is "Kindle devices via USB only", you will not be able to access these titles unless you have a Kindle device registered to your Amazon account. This is due to a restriction by the publisher. 8) When you find an available Kindle ebook you want to check out, click on Add to My Cart. Make sure to select the Kindle Book.

12) Note the Checked out on date and the Expires
on date. Click on Get for Kindle.
(The ebook will remain on your computer or
portable device after the Expires on date but you will
not be able to use it after the expiration date. Delete the title after
the expiration date.)

Click on
Accept to Continue to leave
the WPLC site.
