How to install OverDrive & check-out ebooks on your Android Device
1) Go to the Android Market on your device. Tap Search.
2) Type in and search for Overdrive Media Console. It will be a free app. Tap on OverDrive in your results list.
3) Under Install, tap Free.
4) OverDrive will begin to install. You will see the little install icon at the top of your device.
5) Depending on your connection speed, after a few minutes, OverDrive will be successfully installed.
6) If you look in your apps, you will see an icon for OverDrive. Tap the OverDrive icon.
7) You will see the About information for OverDrive. Tap Close.
8) Tap the settings button for your device. You will see the OverDrive settings. Tap on Get Books.
9) Tap Add a Website.
10) Enter your library by name, city or zip code and tap Search.
11) In this example, River Falls has been found.
12) Scroll down until you see WiLS (Wisconsin Public Library Consortium and then tap the star.
13) OverDrive will open your browser and take you to the Wisconsin Public Library Consortium web site.
14) Find an available EPUB ebook and tap Add to My Cart.
15) Tap Proceed to Checkout.
16) You will need to Login. Tap the little arrow to select a library.
17) Select the Indianhead Federated Public Library. This will work for all MORE Library Consortium library card holders.
18) Enter your library card number.
(You must have an up-to-date
MORE library card with less than $10.00 in fines to check-out. If
you do not have a library card, go to your local Wisconsin public
library to sign-up for a card. To find your local IFLS library, go

closest local Wisconsin library go to
http://dpi.wi.gov/pld/wisysdir.html#public.)
19) After you enter your library card number, tap Login.
20) Review and confirm the ebook select in your cart.
21) Scroll down and then tap Confirm check out.
22) Tap on Download.
23) When prompted to Select an action, select OverDrive Media Console.
24) Authorize OverDrive to use your Adobe ID.
Tap Settings.

25) Enter your Adobe ID (usually an email address) and your Adobe ID password, then tap Authorize.
26) OverDrive will be authorized with your Adobe ID. Do not Deauthorize.
27) OverDrive will begin to download your ebook.
28) When you ebook is done downloading, you will see
the title in your OverDrive library. You may also see a
Notification.
The check-out time will appear as a little calendar icon with a number.
In this example, the ebook check-out period is 7 days.
29) Tap on the ebook to start reading. Slide the page to the left or right to go forwards or backwards within the ebook.
30) Press the settings button on your device to get to the OverDrive settings.
31) You can then change various settings such as Font Size.
32) You will see the check-out period for your ebook title in the My Account section of Wisconsin Public Library Consortium page. When you are done looking for ebook titles, you may want to logout.
