Camcorder Check-Out Policy

Flip Video Ultra camcorder policy

Flip Camera package includes:
1 Black camera case
1 Flip Video Ultra camcorder with wrist strap (serial # 011930765)
1 soft drawstring bag
2 Rechargeable AA batteries (inside camera)
1 Quickstart Guide
 
The Flip Camera has 8 GB of memory and can record up to 120 minutes of content.
 
Minimum system requirements for downloading video content:

Loan Policies
Deposit: $50 refundable deposit 
Loan Period: 7 days
Renewals: No renewals.
Overdue fines:  $1.00 per day

Fee for Damage or Loss: The library reserves the right to charge fees for damage or loss of the camcorder, up to and including the current replacement cost.

Fees may also be charged for loss of camera package parts:
Camera bag $15.00
Drawstring bag: $10.00
Quickstart Guide: $1.00

The Flip Camcorder may be reserved by calling the Reference Desk. 
The Flip Camcorder must be checked out from and returned to River Falls Public Library desk.  Do not put in book drop.

Library staff will check to see that all equipment is functioning properly upon return.

Download and delete your content on the camcorder before returning to the River Falls Public Library.  All content left on the camera will be deleted.  Inappropriate content left on the camera will result in a loss of borrowing privileges.

If you need help downloading your videos or using the FlipShare program included on the camcoder, please refer to the Flip website at http://www.theflip.com/en-us/support/.  Library staff will not be able to provide technical support for the camcorder.

The River Falls Public Library is not responsible for edited or altered software damage to personal computers due to the use of the camcorder.
