Kindle policy and procedure

Kindle package includes:
1 Kindle 3G reader
1 charger
1 USB cord
1 carrying case
1 user’s guide
Loan Policy Deposit: $50 refundable deposit
Loan Period: 14 days
Renewals: No renewals.
Overdue fines: $1.00 per day
Use of the Kindle is restricted to the content installed. Downloading additional content or deleting content is not permitted.
The library has two Kindles which may be reserved. All other Kindles will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Kindles may not be renewed.
Kindles must be checked out from and returned to the desk at the River Falls Public Library. No courier to other libraries is available. Do not place Kindle in book drop.
Fee for Damage or Loss: The library reserves the right to charge fees for damage or loss of the Kindle, up to and including the current replacement cost. Do not attempt repairs, adjustments or alterations of any kind.
Fees may also be charged for loss of Kindle package
parts.

User’s guide - $2.00
Library staff will check to see that all equipment is functioning properly upon return.
