FoodShare Wisconsin
FoodShare is Wisconsin's Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and it helps low-income Wisconsin residents buy food.

The Emergency Food Assistance Program
TEFAP is a federal program that provides food commodities to distribution sites. Food pantries and prepared meal sites receive commodities and they are distributed with other foods.  Households with incomes below 300% of the federal poverty level (FPL) are now eligible to receive a monthly share of locally grown, Grade-A foods that include meat, vegetables, fruit, juice, and more from a TEFAP food pantry.

  • The Day Center is open by appointment Mon - Fri from 10am-4pm for resources such as laundry, Clothing Closet (clothing, outerwear, personal care products, diapers, etc), food, fax/phone, referrals, advocacy, case manager consultations, and more,  
  • The School Year Backpack Program is open to any RFSD school-aged student - please call 715-426-9000 or your child's school to request an application. 
  • The Clothing Closet is taking donations of adult clothes, shoes, accessories (purses, jewelry, etc), outerwear, blankets, sheets, comforters, towels, etc.  Please call to schedule an appt to donate.

The RFSD will offer FREE lunch meals throughout the COVID-19 mandatory break for ALL children 18 years old and under. This is optional for all families regardless of free and reduced or regular lunch account status. In order to participate in this opportunity,

United Methodist Church

The River Falls United Methodist is partnering with the YMCA in Hudson as a food distribution center to support members of our communities at this time.
The church will have non-perishable food on a table right outside of the main entrance Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. starting March 31st. The food will be in bags so that people can just drive by and pick up a bag of food.

WIC provides nutrition education, breastfeeding education and support, supplemental nutritious foods, and referrals to other nutritional services

YMCA is partnering with The Sheridan Story to provide free, nourishing food to families in the community to ensure youth have food during this time. Beginning Wed., March 25, Families can stop the front door at the YMCA Community Response and take a free bag of food. Food pick up is available Monday - Friday at 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Membership is not required. Supplies are limited. Please practice social distancing when picking up food.

Trinity Church - We Do Feet

Help with providing donated furniture and bedding to individuals or families in need providing minor home repairs and minor home maintenance. Other requests are also considered.
Serves the Hudson area and towns surrounding Hudson. Specifically, can serve anyone who is in need of service and cannot afford it at this time, or cannot physically do it themselves. If you know of anyone in need, please refer them.
